GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q: What is Dumela Creative Stock?
A: Dumela Creative Stock is a marketplace for authentic African digital content. We connect creators ("Sellers") who produce photos, videos, audio, and vectors with buyers ("Engagers") who need high-quality, imaginative content for their projects. "Dumela" means "Hello" — we are saying hello to simplicity and creativity from an African perspective.

Q: Who owns the content I upload or buy?
A: Creators retain full ownership of their work. Buyers purchase a license to use the content under specific terms (see our [License Options]). We simply facilitate the connection and transaction.

Q: Is Dumela Creative Stock only for African users?
A: Not at all! Our content is created from an African perspective, but our platform is open to buyers and sellers from anywhere in the world who appreciate and want to engage with African creativity.

Q: How do I create an account?
A: Click the "Sign Up" button on our homepage. You can register using your email address or log in with Facebook for quick access. Registration is free.

 

FOR BUYERS

Q: How do I purchase content?
A: Browse our collection, _select_ the item you want, and choose your license type (Standard, Extended, or Editorial) at checkout. You_qt_ll pay securely through our payment processors, and your download will be available immediately.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and _select_ed local payment methods depending on your region. All payments are processed securely by third-party providers.

Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final. However, if you experience technical issues like a corrupted file, please contact us within 14 days at legal@dumelacreativestock.com, and we_qt_ll review your case.

Q: What_qt_s the difference between Standard and Extended licenses?
A: Great question! Please see our detailed [License Options] document. In short:

Q: Can I use content for commercial projects?
A: Yes, under the appropriate license. Standard and Extended licenses both permit commercial use, but with different scopes. Editorial Use Only content cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Q: Do I need to credit the creator?
A: Credit is appreciated but not required unless specified by the seller. It_qt_s always a nice gesture to support creators!

Q: I logged in with Facebook. How do I _delete_ my data?
A: You can remove our app directly through your Facebook Settings (Apps and Websites), or email us at legal@dumelacreativestock.com to request manual deletion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

 

FOR SELLERS (CREATORS)

Q: How do I start selling my content?
A: Create an account, then navigate to your Dashboard and click "Upload." You_qt_ll need to provide descriptions, categories, and set your price. All content is reviewed before publication to ensure quality and compliance.

Q: What type of content can I sell?
A: We accept photos, vectors, videos, and audio files that are original, high-quality, and appropriate. Content must not infringe on others_qt_ rights or depict illegal/harmful activities. See our Terms of Service (Section 4) for prohibited content.

Q: How much money will I make?
A: Sellers earn a commission on each sale. Rates start at 60% for Standard accounts and can go up to 75% for Exclusive tier sellers. See our complete [Seller Fee Structure] document for details.

Q: When and how do I get paid?
A: Payouts are processed monthly, provided you_qt_ve reached the minimum threshold of $50 USD. Payments are sent via bank transfer (Botswana), PayPal, or Payoneer within 15 business days after month-end.

Q: Can I sell the same content on other websites?
A: Yes, unless you are an Exclusive tier seller. Standard and Premium sellers may offer their content elsewhere. Exclusive sellers agree to sell only on Dumela Creative Stock in exchange for higher commission rates and priority placement.

Q: What if someone uses my content without permission?
A: Please contact us immediately at legal@dumelacreativestock.com. We take copyright infringement seriously and will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or suspending accounts.

Q: How do taxes work for sellers?
A: Sellers are responsible for reporting their income and paying any applicable taxes. We do not withhold taxes on your behalf. Please consult a tax professional for advice specific to your situation.

TECHNICAL & ACCOUNT QUESTIONS

Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?
A: Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it.

Q: How do I _update_ my account information?
A: Log in and go to your Account Settings or Dashboard to _update_ your profile, payment details, and preferences.

Q: Is my payment information secure?
A: Absolutely. We do not store your full payment details on our servers. All transactions are handled by trusted, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors.
